We would like to kindly remind patients that if you are out of the area for a holiday or time away, and require medical treatment, that you should temporarily register with a GP Practice local to where you are staying. This includes within the UK and abroad.
We have had patient’s calling asking for treatment whilst they are away and we are unable to safely provide care for them. The doctor may require a face-to-face examination to offer treatment and this can’t be done safely when you are outwith the area. Please also consider whether you could visit a local pharmacy to receive treatment for certain ailments.
